The latest figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB) regarding household consumption in Sweden showed that it decreased by 3.7 percent in August 2020, compared to August 2019. The consumption group that affected household consumption the most negatively was primarily \u201cTransport and retail trade and service of motor vehicles\u201d, which decreased by 9.6 percent compared to the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n

The month of September delivers<\/strong>
\nMajor appliances (MDA) and domestic appliances (SDA), on the other hand, go against this general trend for household consumption and, according to APPLiA statistics, delivered a record result in value in September 2020 \u2013 by far the best month of the year! The monthly increase for the entire industry of 13.5 percent comes from \u201cdouble digit\u201d increases in the two main segments MDA (+12.6%) and SDA (+16.0%).<\/p>\n
