At the EU level, there are currently many initiatives underway in the field of environment and sustainability where APPLiA influences and contributes to development. APPLiAnytt has listed the different areas without any prioritization, with links to take part in the work that is underway.<\/p>\n

Ecodesign and energy labelling<\/strong> is one of the older issues but still constantly relevant with new revisions and increased requirements for energy consumption all at the same time as energy prices change. For our industry, this is reflected in a discussion about filters on washing machines to prevent textiles containing plastic from getting into waterways when they are washed. APPLiA has member companies that already have this type of filter.
