Our awareness of energy consumption in the home has rarely been greater. Every day we are met with tips in the media on how to reduce energy use and save both resources and money. Fortunately, Applia's member companies provide consumers with great savings opportunities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Product development has for many years focused on making products for the home more energy efficient. There has been much progress and in some cases it is directly profitable for a consumer to replace older and functioning products prematurely in favor of newer and more efficient ones. In combination with recycling of the old products, the total environmental impact can thus also be kept down.<\/p>\n

During the autumn, Applia will collaborate with the Swedish Energy Agency to provide information about energy savings and product efficiency in the white goods market. However, several articles on the topic have already been published in the press. We of course welcome this focus and below is a selection of these articles.<\/p>\n
