Financial statements for an eventful year
Our products have great value for households and exchanges occur continuously even in bad times for consumers. No one chooses to abandon the dishwasher or washing machine in the home. Other industries are having tougher times with a greater market loss as consumers do not upgrade a still functioning TV or telephone. Could this be the beginning of more sustainable consumption where our industry is strong, where we have clearly streamlined the products both based on innovation and legal requirements such as energy labeling? I feel optimistic and dare to say that this is the case.
In the coming years, we will communicate more about, among other things, the industry's values in the areas of environment, innovation and sustainability to become an even more attractive industry. Our products have been a foundation for gender equality work over the past decades and continue to be one of the most important parameters for the possibility of having two working adults in the family.
APPSTAT is in the final stages of development to provide the industry with a new common statistical system across the Nordic region. APPLiA in all Nordic countries has contributed to this joint project that will facilitate companies' reporting and collaboration on statistics. The transition will take place in 2024 and we will get back to all reporting companies after the holidays.
