APPLiA's essay competition – time to nominate

Are you a student majoring in economics and/or technology at a Swedish university or do you know someone in your family or circle of friends who is? Then you can tell us that we at APPLiA are now accepting nominations for the essay competition for bachelor's, master's and master's theses covering the economic aspects that affect the white goods industry in the industrial and retail sectors - such as distribution issues, technological change, consumer interest, establishment issues, environmental aspects or tax systems related to the white goods industry.

A scholarship of 20,000 SEK awaits

The prize is awarded by APPLiA up to twice a year and consists of a scholarship of SEK 20,000. The jury that assesses the essays consists of industry experts from APPLiA, El-Kretsen and Teknikföretagens Branschgrupper. Previous winners

Most recently, APPLiA nominated the essay “Reuse of small electric motors”, written by Sebastian Bergin & Oskar Ohlfeldt at Linköping University as winners of the essay competition 2020. Their “Reuse of small electric motors” is a degree thesis that deals with economic, technical and environmental aspects of reusing electric motors from end-of-life appliances, vacuum cleaners and household appliances.
