Bertazzoni receives patent for Air-Tec
Bertazzoni has obtained the patent for the Air-Tec technology in Italy. The patent application process in other countries is ongoing.
Air-Tec technology, developed at Bertazzoni's research and development center, improves the efficiency and convenience of "all-in-one" appliances by integrating an induction hob, electric oven and extractor hood into a single unit. The compact design not only simplifies transport and installation, but also optimizes kitchen space.
Three devices in one
Air-Tec premiered at the Eurocucina trade fair in June 2022, when Bertazzoni presented its unique novelty in the premium segment, in the form of a free-standing stove with induction hob and integrated fan, and in January 2023 the product was launched on the Nordic market.
The Air-Tec cooker from Bertazzoni integrates three appliances in one – a 90 cm freestanding cooker from the Professional series with induction hob is combined with an integrated premium extractor hood.
A dedicated knob controls the fan and by setting the knob to the "Automatic" position, the extraction power is adjusted according to how many zones and how much power the hob uses.
The exclusive, integrated fan grille, made of black painted aluminium, includes the iconic Bertazzoni brass medallion for a perfect match with other Bertazzoni products. Underneath the grille is a grease filter, which can be washed regularly in the dishwasher, and a carbon filter – with very long life – which is highly effective against odours and smoke, and is reset every three months in the oven.

About Bertazzoni
Italy is one of the leading countries in the world when it comes to professional kitchen equipment – not least stoves. And this is reflected in Bertazzoni's products. Bertazzoni was founded in 1882, making it one of the oldest family-owned companies in the white goods industry. Production takes place in Bertazzoni's factory in Guastalla in northern Italy. The company operates in more than 80 countries, with just over 300 employees, and in 2021 Bertazzoni SpA had a turnover of 120 million euros.
In 2010, the doors opened to Bertazzoni's first showroom in Sweden, at Torsgatan 5A in Stockholm, and in January 2024, the company's new showroom – which has been completely renovated and has become larger with the takeover of the neighboring premises – was inaugurated at the same address.
