New Managing Director at Bertazzoni Scandinavia

Stefan Davidsson has taken office as the new Managing Director at Bertazzoni Skandinavien AB.

Stefan Davidsson has a solid background in the white goods industry and most recently comes from Electrolux, where he spent the last five years as International Key Account Manager in Europe. Before that, Stefan spent more than 20 years at BSH (Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau and Neff) in the Nordics, the last eight of which were Nordic responsible for the Gaggenau brand. Stefan succeeds Peter Ericsson, who has chosen to leave the company after six years.

A clear plan ahead

Stefan Davidsson took over responsibility at Bertazzoni Scandinavia on September 1st and is in the process of getting to know the business, and he has a clear plan.

– I have a clear and distinct goal with Bertazzoni in Scandinavia and that is to broaden our distribution within all market segments with a strong focus on the kitchen specialist trade. And with this also increase our visibility within all our product segments and raise our turnover in Scandinavia. We must become more relevant in the market and be more visible, says Stefan Davidsson, Managing Director Bertazzoni Skandinavien AB.

The plan going forward is to take the step into the kitchen specialist trade – something that feels like a natural choice for Stefan Davidsson, who has more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen specialist trade in the Nordics and Europe from both Electrolux and BSH.

– We must now focus on the kitchen specialist retailers that are right for us to start collaborations with them, but not forget our loyal customers that we currently work with, says Stefan Davidsson.

Digital and analog

The digital tools and channels available today are important, and Bertazzoni has plans to develop that side of the business as well, but the focus is on the personal contact with architects, designers and salespeople in the stores. They are the ones who have direct contact with consumers and can thus become our best ambassadors and provide our mutual consumers with the best information and service for their purchasing decisions.

Another thing that has to do with personal contact is Bertazzoni's fine and exclusive showroom, Casa Bertazzoni, at Torsgatan 5A in Stockholm, which was opened in January this year after an extensive renovation, and can now be used better than before.

– We have a fantastic showroom and anyone is welcome to come in to look at and feel our products and get to know our great brand. I see a great opportunity and a need to open ourselves up more and make ourselves available to both our customers and consumers who are passing by, says Stefan Davidsson.

The three pillars

Family, food and engineering are the three pillars that have inspired Bertazzoni since its inception and guided the design and development of outstanding products since 1882, and these three words still define the Bertazzoni brand today.

About Bertazzoni

Italy is one of the leading countries in the world when it comes to professional kitchen equipment – not least stoves. And this is reflected in Bertazzoni's products. Bertazzoni was founded in 1882, making it one of the oldest family-owned companies in the white goods industry. Production takes place in Bertazzoni's factory in Guastalla in northern Italy. The company operates in more than 80 countries, with just over 300 employees, and in 2021 Bertazzoni SpA had a turnover of 120 million euros.

In 2010, the doors opened to Bertazzoni's first showroom in Sweden, at Torsgatan 5A in Stockholm, and in January 2024, the company's new showroom – which has been completely renovated and has become larger with the takeover of the neighboring premises – was inaugurated at the same address.
