Porsche x SMEG wins Plus X Award 2026

The exclusive collection from Porsche and SMEG has been awarded Plus X Award 2026, one of the world's largest innovation awards in technology and design. The collection is awarded in the categories High Quality, Design, Ease of Use and Functionality.

The jury highlights the combination of performance-driven engineering and Italian design, where material selection, build quality and user-friendliness play a central role. The products are described as a strong fusion of aesthetics and functionality.

The Plus X Award is awarded to the entire The Porsche x Smeg collection. It includes a limited edition of 1,970 numbered copies of a red refrigerator and a matching fully automatic espresso machine, inspired by the legendary Porsche 917 KH in its iconic Salzburg colours – the car that gave Porsche its first overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970.

The collaboration also includes two additional exclusive series in the colors Carrara White and Shade Green – characteristic Porsche nuances interpreted through Italian design. The series includes several of Smeg’s most iconic products, such as the FAB28 refrigerator, toaster, kettle and blender, refined with typical Porsche design details such as matte black accents, subtle lines and clean, sculptural shapes.
