On July 1, the design of the electronics tax will change and deductions will only be possible if the product does not contain bromine, chlorine or phosphorus. If a substance is additive or reactively added, the right to a tax deduction will no longer be affected.

If we look at the market-leading manufacturers in the industry, they have previously been able to make a 50 percent deduction on approximately 3,000 products. From July 1, there will be almost zero products that will receive a deduction, says APPLiA's chairman Kent Oderud to the newspaper Näringslivet.
