About the Electrical Circuit

El-Kretsen is a non-profit company created by trade associations for electronics and battery producers in Sweden with the mission of supporting companies to fulfill their producer responsibility. They do this by offering a nationwide collection system for electronic products. In addition to collection, El-Kretsen provides knowledge about the collection and management of electrical waste and batteries from a historical perspective, current situation and trends.

The statistics only include batteries and electrical/electronic products that have been submitted to the collection system operated by El-Kretsen together with the municipalities. Any secondary collections by individual municipalities are not included.
