ARN: Oven precise temperature safety – re-delivery/cancellation
The customer purchased a built-in oven in May 2018. According to the technical documentation, the oven has precise temperature safety. In May 2019, they discovered that the oven did not reach the set temperature and reported the product to the manufacturer. They were invoiced for the technician's visit as no fault could be found.
In January 2021, they reported the product again after their own measurements. The technician then replaced the temperature sensor. In February 2021, they found that the product did not reach the set temperature and were then informed that an acceptable difference is +- 15-20 degrees. The customer believes that an oven with precise temperature security should not have such a difference.
The manufacturer has replaced the temperature sensor during one of the service sessions and then checked that the oven is working properly. The standard allows a difference of 15-20 degrees.
Based on the documents in the case, ARN concludes that the oven no longer has any defects under purchase law.
ARN therefore rejects the customer's claim.
