Electrolux Sustainability Report 2021

Electrolux published its sustainability report on March 28th For the Better – Electrolux Sustainability Report 2021, where they show, among other things, that greenhouse gas emissions from its own operations have decreased by 78 percent compared to 2015. This means that the group is four years ahead of its plan to reach the science-based target of 80 percent by 2025 (SBTi, Scope 1 and 2).

Another thing highlighted in the report is that the Group's Scope 3 emissions (use of the products) have decreased by approximately 20 percent compared to 2015, which means that Electrolux is well on its way to reaching the SBTi target of 25 percent reduction by 2025.

”The sustainability framework gives us the direction to achieve our goals within Better Company, Better Solutions and Better Living, and to become climate neutral in our supply chain by 2050. Our focus and commitment mean that we are four years ahead of schedule in reducing emissions in our own operations. We are now building on this fantastic result,” says Electrolux President and CEO Jonas Samuelson.
