Matte black at the Nordbygg fair!

A visit to the white goods stands at the Nordbygg fair at the Stockholm International Fairs shows that black is increasingly dominating white goods. The range of black white goods is already extensive and has become a popular alternative to traditional white and stainless steel. Now the trend has moved on to a modern matt black finish on refrigerators, freezers, ovens and hobs.

At B/S/H, a completely matte black stand was displayed with the motto ”"Matte is the new black"”. The matte black expression is repeated on the company's ovens, refrigerators, freezers and hobs, creating a sober whole that is both resistant to wear and pleasant to the touch. The surface is designed to give a slightly rough feel that is experienced as exclusive and practical in everyday life.

All booth staff were also dressed in sober black and super good black The ice cream was served in the pitch-black BSH stand – that gave extra points!

According to Linda Wahlberg from BSH, matte black appliances fit into kitchens with almost any color scheme, from light natural tones to darker and more muted colors. The matte black is repeated on the company's ovens, refrigerators, freezers and hobs, creating a sober surface that is resistant to rough treatment and really nice to touch.

Oskar Arkstedt from Electrolux Centrala Bygg in the combined Electrolux/AEG stand also showcased the matte black look in both the AEG and Electrolux brands, which underlines that matte black has now established itself as an attractive and modern choice in the overall kitchen design.

During the production of the stylish, matte glass or steel surface, the properties of the tempered glass or resistant steel are enhanced. The surface acquires a natural resistance to stains and fingerprints, which makes it particularly suitable for demanding environments. It is also stylish.

Let's now hope that the future is no longer pitch black but just matte black! 😊, hopes Kent Oderud – directly from Nordbygg.
