Our member companies are divided into three groups based on areas of operation – MDA, SDA and Commercial.
Major domestic appliances (MDA) refers to, for example, products within the refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, stove, fan and microwave. Small domestic appliance (SDA) refers to smaller products such as coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, irons and hygiene products. Commercial is equipment intended for professional use.
Product segments
The white goods brand Whirlpool* is marketed by the company European Appliances Nordic AB, which is part of Beko Europe. Beko Europe was established in 2023 and is the result of an agreement between Arcelik and Whirlpool. Today (autumn 2024), Beko Europe has over 20,000 employees, 69 subsidiaries and 11 production facilities across Europe.
