The IFA trade fair continues in Berlin

There has been some uncertainty about whether the major trade fair for white goods, household appliances and home electronics IFA would be moved from Berlin to another German trade fair venue in the future. Now, a press release has announced that this is not the case. IFA will remain in Berlin in the future. The companies gfu and Clarion Events have reached an agreement with Messe Berlin that IFA will remain on the Berlin exhibition grounds in the future.

IFA Management GmbH founded

The parties have reached an agreement: perhaps the world's most important trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances will, as before, be held on the exhibition grounds of Messe Berlin GmbH. Responsibility for the event will now lie with IFA Management GmbH – a new joint venture founded by gfu Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH together with Clarion Events Ltd, one of the world's leading independent event organizers.

More startups, more entertainment

Under the new partnership, IFA plans to build on its success by expanding its digital offering and the IFA Next brand to add more startups and innovative products to the event. The new partnership will invest in features, new experiences and entertainment to generate more value and excitement for visitors, attendees, sponsors and exhibitors.
