Product news: Manual flagship & redesigned classics
A duo of Italian companies have presented new products in February. De'Longhi has launched La Specialista Maestro as the company's most advanced manual coffee machine ever, and Bertazzoni – which turns 140 this year – is now launching 22 freestanding cookers with a new design in March.
De'Longhi's most advanced manual coffee machine
De'Longhi announces that behind the creation of La Specialista Maestro lie thousands of hours of research, development and Italian craftsmanship – the machine was created in collaboration with global coffee scientists during more than 300 workshops, all to provide the user with a perfect manual coffee machine that combines the science with the art of making a perfect cup of coffee.
”"This machine is our most exclusive in the La Specialista family and is a masterpiece we are very proud of. Maestro is a complete coffee machine for those who want the luxury of being able to prepare basically any coffee drink at home in their kitchen.", says Jean-Baptiste Viton, Senior Product Marketing Manager at De'Longhi.
Among the new features are a dual milk system (manual with MyLatte and automatic with LatteCrema) and a ”smart tamper lever” (a lever on the machine is used to apply pressure to the ground coffee directly in the machine, without spillage).

22 newly designed stoves from Bertazzoni
With its warm and authentic style, Bertazzoni's Heritage series is perhaps the one that is most deeply rooted in the company's origins, says Bertazzoni, which is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year, and one way to celebrate this is that the design of the iconic Heritage series has been completely renewed, while maintaining its timeless charm.
Although for some years now, Bertazzoni's kitchen range has included built-in ovens, hobs and extractor hoods as well as dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers and wine cabinets, the heart of the company's business is still free-standing cookers in sizes from 60 to 120 cm, a product category the company has focused on since the late 19th century.
Bertazzoni offers no less than 22 freestanding stoves on the Nordic market – in the three series Heritage, Master and Professional – in different colors and designs (in sizes 60, 90, 100 and 120 cm), which means a total of 71 different variants.
They are available with single, double or triple ovens, induction or gas hobs. And now they have all been redesigned – Heritage is the series that has changed the most compared to the previous generation of products, but Master and Professional have also been redesigned.
”Our Heritage series is the best-selling cooker in the 90 cm double oven segment, and starting this anniversary year with the launch of these newly designed classics feels right,” says Peter Ericsson, General Manager for Bertazzoni Nordic.
