World-unique coffee innovation from SEVERIN
During last week's Formex trade fair, Severin launched a new fully automatic filter coffee maker on the market. The machine is unique in the world by combining the convenience of automatic coffee machines with the taste of freshly ground filter coffee.
Fully automatic coffee machines are very popular, but none have yet made it possible to brew freshly ground filter coffee in the desired quantity at the touch of a button. Severin's latest product FILKA Suitable for full jugs as well as single cups and mugs.
”"FILKA is our next big innovation that we hope will further strengthen our position as experts in coffee preparation. It is a completely new product category that we are very proud of," says Peder Qwist, Country Manager Nordics, Severin.
FILKA always uses only the exact amount of water required for the amount of coffee you need and can do ”everything” thanks to an innovative 5-in-1 compatibility. In addition, the machine is equipped with an individually adjustable cup space for the right amount of coffee (100 - 350 ml) when making a cup. A washable gold-tone filter, as an alternative to the conventional paper filter, and water filter are also included. Both the water tank and the coffee bean container are removable on this only 17 cm slim product.
The integrated and adjustable cup storage allows you to use your favorite cup, regardless of size, and the thermos jug allows you to enjoy hot coffee all day long, says Peder Qwist.
FILKA is easily operated via a large LED touchscreen that gives you the perfect cup of coffee according to your wishes at the touch of a button. Last but not least, the preparation can be planned using a timer and the pot of coffee is kept warm for a long time. The freshly ground coffee beans from the integrated and pleasantly quiet grinder are combined with an ideal brewing temperature of up to 96 °C. The option to prepare with already ground coffee powder is still available.
Another plus: Despite its extensive functionality, the machine takes up no more space than a regular coffee machine and also blends stylishly but discreetly into any kitchen. FILKA has already passed the market test: In an independent end-consumer test, FILKA was unreservedly recommended by 99 percent of the test subjects.
The two versions "KA 4850" (with glass jug, RRP: 2995KR) and "KA 4851" (with thermos jug, RRP: 3295KR) will be available from mid-October.
