Electrolux Sustainability Report 2021

On March 28, Electrolux published its sustainability report For the Better – Electrolux Sustainability Report 2021, where they show, among other things, that greenhouse gas emissions from their own operations have decreased by 78 percent compared to 2015. This means that the group is four years ahead of its plan to reach the science-based target of 80 percent by 2025 (SBTi, Scope 1 and 2).

How is your municipality doing?

Every year, El-Kretsen collects statistics on collected electrical waste and batteries per municipality. Now the 2021 statistics have been compiled and the total collection includes 138,749 tons. This corresponds to approximately 13 kilograms per person.

Earth Hour March 26th 8:30 PM

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney at the initiative of WWF in Australia as a way to draw attention to the country's decision-makers on the climate issue. This first Earth Hour resulted in over 2 million Sydney residents and 2000 businesses turning off their lights. The news spread around the world and now we are soon turning off for the fifteenth time.
