We are more than just a trade association
APPLiA's primary purpose is to strengthen the competitiveness of its member companies and the industry in both the commercial and technical areas, internationally and nationally. Therefore, we are involved in several external initiatives and, within the framework of our service operations, own companies that contribute to this. XPOS
XPOS, eXchange at Point Of Sales, is a joint complaints system for retailers and service workshops in the industry. The system is a well-established routine for handling complaints about electrical appliances in the Nordic region. APPLiA is the sole owner of XPOS.
The Electric Circuit
When producer responsibility was introduced in 2001, electronics manufacturers, through their trade associations, created a joint service to make the recycling process smoother – El-Kretsen. All our member companies commit to taking full producer responsibility, and as part of that, they themselves are also affiliated with El-Kretsen.
APP STATUS
BMAB provides market information for a number of different industry organizations in Sweden. BMAB is currently owned by APPLiA. APPSTAT is the name of the tool where reporting and analysis of market statistics is done.
Our questions
Good conditions for APPLiA's member companies are a prerequisite for a continued strong Swedish business community and a sustainable economy. The member companies' innovations make everyday life easier for Swedes and create conditions for good living conditions and free up time from household services. In the long run, this contributes to increased GDP growth.
APPLiA's member companies also have a market coverage of just over 90% in Sweden. This makes us the industry's common voice in dialogue and collaboration with authorities, decision-makers and other organizations.
Therefore, we actively work with advocacy for the good of our members, at a national and international level.
