The most super strong month of the year for both small and large household appliances
The latest figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB) regarding household consumption in Sweden showed that it decreased by 3.7 percent in August 2020, compared to August 2019. The consumption group that affected household consumption the most negatively was primarily “Transport and retail trade and service of motor vehicles”, which compared to the same period the previous year decreased by 9.6 percent. Market up in the third quarter
The quarterly report for the industry's white goods/small appliances within the APPLiA companies Q1-Q3 was saved by a strong September (see monthly figures below) where both volumes and value exceeded last year's September. The industry's total value increase (MDA+SDA) during the first nine months of the year is now 3.7 percent higher than the same period last year.
